Beans With Coconut Milk
Ingredients
- 2 c. Chick peas, soaked
- 1 1/2 c. Coconut lowfat milk
- 1 med Tomato, minced
- 3 x Garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 x Garlic clove, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp Turmeric
Directions
- Cook peas ni sufficient water to cover till they are about half done.
- Drain them, then add in the coconut lowfat milk to the pot along with the tomato & spices. Continue to boil till the peas are tender. Serve warm with rice.
