Bat Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 3 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - (12 ounce)
- 1 ct chive-and-onion flavored cream c (8 ounce), softened
- 1 jar diced pimiento - (4 ounce) liquid removed
- 1/2 c. minced pecans toasted
- 24 whl wheat or possibly pumpernickel bread slices
Directions
- Stir together first 4 ingredients Using a 3- to 4-inch bat-shaped cutter, cut 2 bats from each bread slice.
- Spread about 2 Tbsp. filling over 24 bats. Top with remaining 24 bats.
- This recipe yields 24 sandwiches.
