  • Barbecued Pork Lo Mein

    Ingredients

    • 2 Tbsp. Sesame oil
    • 1/2 c. Chicken broth
    • 2 Tbsp. Vegtable oil
    • 2 Tbsp. Oyster sauce
    • 1 Tbsp. Ginger, finely minced
    • 1 Tbsp. Soy, dark
    • 2 c. Bok choy, cut in 1/2" pieces
    • 1/2 tsp Sugar
    • 1 1/2 c. Bean sprout
    • 1 dsh Pepper
    • 8 ounce Chinese BBQ pork

    Directions

    1. Answer to my request and was unsure how to post them to the group. So, I told her which I would do it for her:1. Cook noodles in plenty of boiling water, when al dente, drain and toss with sesame oil, set aside
    2. 2. Combine sauce ingredients, set aside
    3. 3. Heat wok, add in oil, Add in ginger stir fry till fragrant (about 10 sec) add in bok choy, bean sprouts and pork, Stir fry 2 minutes
    4. 4. Add in broth then when broth is warm add in noodles, cover and cook 2 minutes
    5. 5. Add in sauce, stir well and serve Varriations, instead of pork, use left over cooked, roast beef, lamb, shrimp or possibly chicken, other fresh vegtables in season can be used in place of the sprouts and bok choy
