Barbecue Spare Ribs In Crock Pot
Ingredients
- 1 c. finely minced onion
- 3/4 c. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. minced celery
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. wine vinegar
- 32 ounce. bottle ketchup
- 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
- Salt and pepper
- 3 - 5 pound beef or possibly pork Texas style ribs
Directions
- In skillet, saute/fry onion, celery and black pepper in butter. Add in to crock pot with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hrs (high setting 3 - 4 hrs). Sauce can be doubled and freezes well.
