  • Barbecue Soy Sausage Chili

    Ingredients

    • This dish can be made ahead and reheated at any time. It is especially satisfying on a Summer's night. Look for the low sodium version of beans and barbecue sauce to keep down your salt intake.
    • 2 tsp soybean oil
    • 1 med onion, diced
    • 3 pkt Gimme Lean!TMBeef Style, broken into pcs
    • 1 x (8 ounce.) can kidney beans, liquid removed, low
    • 12 ounce barbecue sauce, low sodium

    Directions

    1. 1. In a 3-quart. saucepan over medium heat, saute/fry the onion in the oil till soft and slightly brown, about 5 min.
    2. 2. Add in the Gimme Lean!TM and continue to stir till it browns.
    3. 3. Add in the beans and barbecue sauce; mix thoroughly.
    4. 4. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, for about 10 min.
    5. Serve with Spicy Soy Cornbread and Coleslaw.
