Bar B Que Beef Or Pork

A great way to use up leftovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh stew beef or pork OR use leftover pork or beef roast
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 2 teaspoon minced parsley
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 c. catsup or 1/2 catsup & 1/2 barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. Cook meat until tender in water.
  2. Add in salt and pepper and remaining ingredients.
  3. Mix; simmer slowly with cover until all tender.
  4. Mash with potato masher until meat is stringy.
  5. Serve on hamburger or possibly hard rolls.
