Bananas Foster Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 10 ounce Bread, stale, crumbled
  • 1 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. Cream
  • 1 c. Banana liqueur
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 8 Tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 4 lrg Large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 5 med Bananas, cut up
  • 1 c. Pecans, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon

Directions

  1. Bananas Foster Sauce-
  2. 1 stick butter 2 c. dark brown sugar 4 ounces banana liqueur4 ounces dark rumground cinnamon
  3. Combine all ingredients; mix should be very moist but not soupy. Pour into buttered 9x12" or possibly larger baking dish. Place into non-preheated oven.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 75 min, till top is golden.
  5. Serve hot with sauce.
  6. Bananas Foster Sauce:Heat butter and add in brown sugar to create a creamy paste. Let this mix caramelize over heat for approx. 5 min. Stir in banana liqueur and rum. Heat and ignite. Agitate to keep flame burning, and add in a few pinches of voodoo magic (grnd cinnamon) to the flame. Let flames go out and serve hot over hot bread pudding.
