Baked Turkey Loaf (Lf)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb Grnd turkey
  • 1/2 med Onion, finely minced Celery stalk, finely minced
  • 1/4 c. Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Bell pepper, finely minced
  • 1/2 c. Whole-wheat bread crumbs, toasted
  • 1/4 c. Skim lowfat milk, or possibly chicken stock Egg white, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, freshly grnd
  • 1/4 tsp Dry oregano, crushed
  • 10 ml Garlic, crushed

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients till just blended. Don't overmix. Press the mix into a 4 x 9-inch nonstick loaf pan. Bake at 325F for 45 min to 1 hour.
  2. Serve warm with Mushroom Glaze (see recipe same name) or possibly serve cool.
  3. Makes 6servings.
