Baked Swiss Steak
Ingredients
- 2 lb Round Steak, 1 inch thick Flour
- 1 lrg Onion
- 1 x Green Bell Pepper
- 4 stalk Celery
- 3 lrg Carrots
- 1 can (28 Ounce) Tomatoes
- 1/3 c. Catsup
- 1 can (8 Ounce) Tomato Sauce
- 2 tsp Horseradish
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce Salt And Pepper, to taste
Directions
- Roll meat in flour and brown in fat in skillet. Place in a large, deep baking dish. Cut onion, pepper, celery, and carrots in large pcs and add in to the meat. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the meat. Bake, covered, for 2 to 2 1/2 hrs, at 325 , till tender.
