Baked Salmon With Garlic And Herb Crust

  • 1 x Clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Dry Marjoram
  • 4 Tbsp. Flat leaf parsley, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. Fresh bread crumbs
  • 4 Tbsp. Extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Grnd pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 lb Salmon fillets, skinned


  1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. With a mortar and pestle crush the garlic to a paste. In a small mixing bowl combine the garlic, marjoram, parsley, breadcrumbs, extra virgin olive oil, and salt.
  3. Grind in a little black pepper and stir till you have a paste.
  4. Cut the fillet crosswise into four pcs, lightly grease a baking dish with about 2 Tsp. extra virgin olive oil, arrange the fillets with at least 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake the salmon for about 5 min, remove from the oven, spread the paste mix over the fillets and bake the salmon for another 5-10 min.
