Baked Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 2 c. Oatmeal
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. Chunky or possibly regular applesauce
- 1/2 c. Brown sugar Topping
- 1 c. Vanilla yogurt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 F
- In a large bowl combine the oatmeal, baking pwdr and salt. Fold in lowfat milk, Large eggs, oil, brown sugar. Stir and pour into a greased casserole dish. Bake at 325 for 45 min. Serve warm, topping each with vanilla yogurt.
- Notes: A delicious warm treat on a cool morning. Convenient to prepare ahead of time. Every time I serve it, I'm asked for the recipe.
