Baked Chicken Breasts With Horseradish Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Horseradish -- (prepared White)
  • 2 Tbsp. Lowfat sour cream
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp White Wine Vinegar Salt And Pepper
  • 2 x Chicken Breast Halves -- With bone

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a medium-size saucepan, heat butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook, stirring, for 1 minute without browning. Whisk in lowfat milk, bring to a boil, and cook, stirring, till sauce is thick and smooth, about 3 min.
  3. Stir in horseradish, lowfat sour cream, sugar, mustard, and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Arrange chicken breasts, skin side up, in a baking dish. Spoon half the horseradish sauce over chicken. Bake 45 min till chicken is tender.
  5. Broil chicken for 5 min to brown. Reheat remaining sauce and serve over chicken.
