Ingredients

  • 8 ounce Chick peas
  • 4 x Tomatoes
  • 2 x Onions
  • 1 x Green pepper
  • 2 x Cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Marjoram
  • 1 pch Sage
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced parsley Salt pepper Light spray oil

Directions

  1. Soak chick peas over-night or possibly in boiling water for one hour. Boil them gently till just tender, or possibly cook under pressure for about 20 min. Skin and quarter the tomatoes, peel and chop the onions and pepper and crush the garlic. Spray oil into pan and fry all the vegetables in it. Add in the herbs and finally the cooked, liquid removed chick peas. Season and cook in an oven proof dish, covered at 325F, gas 3 for an hour.
