Baked Caramel Apples
Ingredients
- 4 lrg Apples
- 1 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 1 c. Boiling water
- 1 1/2 c. Miniature marshmallows
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Directions
- Peel, core and 1/4 apples; place in 2 qt baking dish. Heat butter in medium saucepan; blend in flour. Add in sugar and water, stirring over low heat till dissolved. Add in marshmallows and continue stirring till melted.
- Bring sauce to boil; pour over apples. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 min, basting with sauce occasionally. Serve hot or possibly cool.
