  • Baked Apples 2

    Ingredients

    • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter in pcs
    • 1/3 c. Raisins
    • 1/4 c. Packed Brown Sugar
    • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
    • 4 lrg Baking Apples
    • 2/3 c. Apple Cider Whipped Cream

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375F degrees. Combine the butter, raisins, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl, working the mix with your fingers till the ingredients are well combined. Set the filling aside.
    2. Core the apples; then carefully remove a strip of peel from around the stem end of each. Divide the raisin filling among the hollowed-out cores.
    3. Place the apples in a small baking dish and pour the cider into the bottom of the pan.
    4. Bake, basting the apples occasionally with some cider, till the centers can be easily pierced with a knife, 40 to 45 min.
    5. Serve hot with the juices from the pan, with the whipped cream.
