Bacon & Tomato Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

One of our favorite sandwich combinations with a bowl of soup makes an easy lunch or early quick supper option on a busy weeknight!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Cooked Bacon slices
  • 8 Slices Sourdough Bread
  • 4 tablespoons Butter (divided use)
  • One Large Ripe Tomato
  • 16 Sharp aged Cheddar Cheese Slices

Directions

  1. On a griddle pan add four buttered slices of sourdough bread, add two slices of bacon, ripe tomato slices, 4 slices aged cheddar cheese, butter top side of bread (butter side up) once bottom bread slice is toasted on each sandwich, carefully flip sandwiches. Cook 3-4 minutes until cheese melts and bread is evenly toasted.
  2. Cut, plate and serve.
