Bacon Cream Steamed Green Beans

- 16 ounces Fresh whole green beans (snip ends)
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons bacon fat
- 1/4 cup scant light cream
- one teaspoon corn starch
Directions
- In a vegetable steamer add 1-1/4 cups Water, once boiling reduce heat, add green beans and cook 3 minutes, remove and drain any excess liquid
- In a sauce pan add bacon fat (once melted) on medium heat add light cream stirring the entire time, add corn starch (to thicken) and stir until creamy
- Pout over steamed green beans
- Enjoy!
