Bacon Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 x cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 c. green onions, minced
- 3 ounce real bacon bits
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 x tomato, minced
Directions
- Combine cheeses, garlic, onions, bacon bits and lowfat sour cream in a baking dish and mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Top with minced tomato and serve with crackers and/or possibly tortilla chips.
- Chefs Notes: Use low fat lowfat sour cream. You might be able to get away with low fat cheeses as long as you do not lose the "gooey" factor.
