Baby Back Ribs With Fruity Marinade

Ingredients

  • 11\2 kilo baby back ribs, cut into 3 ribs per slab
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1\4 cup lime or lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1\2 cup honey
  • 1\2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 bay leaves (fresh or dried)

Directions

  1. Place ribs in a sauce pot together with the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Let mixture boil then allow to simmer until tender.
  3. Remove ribs from the mixture and let sauce reduce over low heat if needed.
  4. Grill or bake ribs brushing it occasionally with the sauce until golden in color.
  5. Garnish grated orange peel when serve(optional)
