Asparagus With Orange Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange zest
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- Blanch asparagus by placing in a saucepan and covering asparagus with water. Cook till crisp-tender. Drain off water. Combine orange juice, orange zest, butter and salt in saucepan and heat till thickened. Pour over asparagus and serve.
- Chefs Notes: Not much room for improvement here.
