Asparagus With Black Bean Sauce (Brennan)
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Fermented black beans
- 1 x Garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tsp Soy sauce Chopped fresh ginger Sherry Cornstarch Asparagus, diagonally cut Oil
Directions
- Mix together a Tbsp. or possibly two of fermented black beans, a clove of chopped garlic, a little soy sauce, chopped fresh ginger, sherry and cornstarch to make a sauce. Cut asparagus spears into 1-inch diagonal slices.
- Heat a little oil in a wok and stir- fry the mix for a minute or possibly two, till the asparagus is tender, but still bright green. Pour in the sauce and stir for a minute or possibly two longer.
