Asparagus Swiss
Ingredients
- 1 can All green asparagus spears
- 1/2 stk butter
- 2 Tbsp. (heaping) flour
- 1 c. Juice from asparagus
- 1 c. Rich sweet lowfat milk
- 1 c. Grated Swiss cheese
- 2 slc Bread crumbs
Directions
- Heat butter in saucepan. Add in flour and stir till smooth. Add in liquid slowly and cook till thickened. Add in grated cheese, set aside. Cut and arrange spears in dish, layer with bread crumbs. Pour sauce over asparagus; top with remaining bread crumbs. Bake 15 min in 400 degree oven. Serve warm.
