  • Asian Style Honey Vegetable Stir Fry

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 c. Honey
    • 1/4 c. Prepared stir fry sauce
    • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes, may be doubled
    • 4 tsp Peanut oil Or possibly vegetable oil
    • 2 c. Small broccoli florets
    • 2 c. Small mushrooms
    • 1 sm Onion, cut into wedges and separated into 1-inch strips
    • 1 med Carrot, cut diagonally into 1/3-inch slices

    Directions

    1. In small bowl, combine honey, stir fry sauce and crushed red pepper flakes; set aside. In wok or possibly large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; add in vegetables and toss while cooking, about 2-3 min. Add in honey sauce, stir till all vegetables are glazed and sauce is bubbly warm, about 1 minute.
    2. Serve as a vegetable side dish or possibly over steamed rice or possibly noodles for a main dish.
    3. Makes 4 servings.
