  • Asian Chicken Salad

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon molasses
    • 2 teaspoons tamari soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
    • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
    • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
    • 1 cup Chow Mein noodles
    • 1 head iceberg lettuce - rinsed, dried, and shredded
    • 4 boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and shredded
    • 3 green onions, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
    • 1/2 cup cranrasins

    Directions

    1. Prepare the dressing 20 minutes ahead of time by combining the molasses, tamari soy sauce, sesame oil, salad oil, and vinegar in a salad dressing carafe.
    2. In a large bowl combine the iceberg lettuce, cooked and shredded chicken, green onions, cranraisins and toasted sesame seeds. Let chill.
    3. Serve in salad bowls and pour the dressing over the top of the salad, toss, and serve immediately.
    4. just before serving add the Chow Mein noodles.
