Ingredients

  • 2 c. Apples
  • 3 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Veg. oil
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. Orange juice
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 c. Sifted Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. Peel, core, and chop apples into small pcs. Mix together with 3 Tbsp. sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. In large bowl, combine sugar and veg. oil; beat. Add in Large eggs, orange juice, and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, and salt; add in to creamed mix. Beat till smooth. Pour one third batter into greased and floured 12 c. bundt pan alternating with one half apple mix. Repeat. End with layer of batter on top. Bake at 325 degrees F for 60 min or possibly till cake tests done. Cold in pan 10 to 15 min; turn out on wire rack or possibly serving plate to complete cooling. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
