These little apple parfaits are a perfect low calorie treat to help you stay in swimsuit shape.
- 1 Apple - cored, peeled and thinly sliced (I used a Gala apple)
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 1/4 Tbsp Nutmeg
- 6 oz Vanilla Yogurt
- 4 Tbsp Chopped Walnuts
- Place apples, cider, cinnamon stick and nutmeg in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until apples are soft and liquid starts to thicken. (about 20 minutes) Remove cinnamon stick and discard.
- Place 1/4 of the yogurt, 1/4 of the apple and syrup, and 1/4 of the walnuts into each serving glass. Repeat layers. Serve while apples are still warm or refrigerate before serving.
