Apple Crumble Cake
Ingredients
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Quick cooking oats
- 3/4 c. Butter, melted
- 1 c. Sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Water
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 6 x Apples, peeled, cored, slice
Directions
- Preparation Time: 1:00
- Mix together flour, brownsugar, oats, butter. Spread half of mix in 9 x 13 pan. Pat down.
- Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and water in saucepan. Cook over moderate heat, stirring till thickened. Add in sliced apples and vanilla. Stir to coat well. Spread proportionately over crumbly mix in pan. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake in 350 oven for about one hour. Try a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
