Ingredients

  • 4 c. peeled and thinly sliced apples
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp grnd nutmeg
  • 2 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 c. half and half cream
  • 1 x unbaked 9 inch pie crust

Directions

  1. Method:1. Place apples in pie shell. Mix together sugar, flour, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mix over apples in shell.
  2. Heat the butter or possibly margarine and stir into cream. Pour liquids over apples.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 35 min.
  4. Makes 1 nine inch pie
  5. This is a family favorite.
