    Ingredients

    • 1 1/3 c. FRESH BREAD CRUMBS
    • 3/4 c. PACKED BROWN SUGAR
    • 1 tsp GRATED ORANGE PEEL (FRESH)
    • 1/2 tsp Grnd CINNAMON
    • 6 x GRANNY SMITH APPLES (8 C.)
    • 4 Tbsp. BUTTER (CUT IN SMALL Pcs)
    • 1/4 c. WATER

    Directions

    1. PEEL, CORE AND QUARTER THE APPLES. HEAT OVEN TO 375 DEG F. HAVE A 1 1/2 Qt BAKING DISH READY. MIX ALL THE CRUMB Mix INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN A BOWL Till WELL BLENDED. ARRANGE HALF THE APPLE Pcs OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE BAKING DISH. SPRINKLE WITH HALF THE CRUMB Mix. DOT WITH HALF THE BUTTER. REPEAT THE LAYERS. DRIZZLE THE WATER OVER THE APPLES. COVER AND BAKE FOR 45 TO 50 Min Or possibly Till APPLES IN CENTER ARE TENDER. SERVE Hot Or possibly AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
    2. MAKES 6 SERVINGS.
