Appetizer Cheese Ball
Ingredients
- 224 gm Cream Cheese
- 112 gm Danish blue cheese
- 112 gm cheese, grated
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2/3 c. Currants
- 2 tsp mustard, whole grain
- 1/8 tsp Garlic Pwdr
- 1/2 c. pecan nuts
- 3/4 c. Parsley, Minced
Directions
- Place the cream cheese, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, mustard, Worcestershire, garlic pwdr, and salt in a mixer bowl and beat at low speed just till well mixed.
- Stir in the minced pecans and currants. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Chill the cheese mix for 30 min or possibly till slightly hard, then shape into a ball. Roll in the minced parsley to coat well.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill till ready to serve. Let stand at room temperature for about 30 min before serving.
- Place on a platter surrounded with crackers and apple wedges.
