  • Appetizer Cheese Ball

    Ingredients

    • 224 gm Cream Cheese
    • 112 gm Danish blue cheese
    • 112 gm cheese, grated
    • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
    • 1/4 tsp Salt
    • 2/3 c. Currants
    • 2 tsp mustard, whole grain
    • 1/8 tsp Garlic Pwdr
    • 1/2 c. pecan nuts
    • 3/4 c. Parsley, Minced

    Directions

    1. Place the cream cheese, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, mustard, Worcestershire, garlic pwdr, and salt in a mixer bowl and beat at low speed just till well mixed.
    2. Stir in the minced pecans and currants. Taste and adjust seasoning.
    3. Chill the cheese mix for 30 min or possibly till slightly hard, then shape into a ball. Roll in the minced parsley to coat well.
    4. Cover with plastic wrap and chill till ready to serve. Let stand at room temperature for about 30 min before serving.
    5. Place on a platter surrounded with crackers and apple wedges.
