Almond Lake With Mandarin Oranges
Ingredients
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp almond essence
- 1/3 c. grnd rice
- 11 ounce canned mandarin oranges
- 1/4 c. flaked toasted almonds
Directions
- Put the lowfat milk, sugar, essence and rice in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly, and simmer for 5 min. Pour into a dish, cover and cold. Drain the mandarin oranges well. Spoon the rice into individual dishes. Place the mandarin oranges on the rice and sprinkle with the almonds.
