  • Almond Fudge Brownies

    Ingredients

    • Candy-coated semisweet chocolate pcs which bake on top of the brownies spare you the need for frosting. Nonstick spray coating
    • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 c. grnd almonds
    • 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
    • 1/2 c. butter
    • 2 1/2 ounce unsweetened chocolate, cut up
    • 1 c. sugar
    • 2 x slightly beaten Large eggs
    • 1 x slightly beaten egg yolk
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1/2 c. candy-coated semisweet chocolate pcs

    Directions

    1. Spray only the bottom of a 2-qt square baking dish with nonstick coating.
    2. Combine flour, almonds, and baking pwdr; set aside. In a medium saucepan heat and stir butter and unsweetened chocolate over medium heat till melted. Stir in sugar,beaten whole Large eggs, beaten egg yolk, and vanilla. Beat by hand till just combined. Stir into flour mix. Spread mix into prepared baking dish.
    3. Sprinkle with candy-coatedpieces. Bake in a 350 degree F. oven for 30 min. Cold in pan on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
    4. Servings: 16
