Alligator Sausage And Crawfish Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb Alligator sausage crumbled, browned, and liquid removed
- 1 lb Crawfish tails
- 1 lb Smoked sausage sliced
- 2 c. Converted long-grain rice
- 10 ounce Rotelle tomatoes with chiles - (1 can)
- 1 can Onion soup
- 1 can Beef consomme
- 1 bn Green onions minced
- 1 lb Mushrooms sliced
- 10 x Garlic cloves chopped
- 2 x Bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. Freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1/4 lb Butter or possibly margarine
Directions
- Mix alligator sausage with the remaining ingredients. Place in a covered casserole or possibly pan and cook in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. After 30 min, stir well and continue cooking for the remaining time. Let cold, uncovered, for a few min and serve.
- This recipe yields 10 to 20 servings.
