    Ingredients

    • 4 lb prepared meatballs
    • 11/2 lb mushrooms halved
    • 1 lb warm italian sausages sliced
    • 1 lb mild italian sausages sliced
    • 1 x recipe rock's famous barbecue sauce (recipe follows) rock's famous barbecue sauce- - (peter rock)
    • 2 lrg yellow onions minced
    • 5 x cloves garlic chopped
    • 6 Tbsp. soy sauce
    • 6 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
    • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    • 1 c. ketchup
    • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    • 1 tsp celery salt
    • 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
    • 1/2 c. dry red wine
    • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar

    Directions

    1. Cook your favorite meatball recipe according to directions. Make meat balls about the size of a small walnut. Slice sausages thinly and fry till done. Use mushrooms whole if tiny, halved or possibly sliced to a size which they can be easily speared by a toothpick. Make barbecue sauce according to recipe or possibly use your own favorite. Mix together. Keep warm or possibly hot for serving.
    2. To prepare Rock's Famous Barbecue Sauce: Combine all ingredients in a microwave-safe cooking dish. Microwave on high for 5 min; stir and cook another 5 min. Pour over chicken or possibly ribs for marinating and barbecuing. Save remainder for other uses. This is a Rock family favorite.
    3. NOTES : Carole says this recipe is outstanding and she guarantees accolades. Serve in a crockpot or possibly elegant chafing dish to keep hot and with toothpicks along side.
