I'm a retired baby boomer. Love food, love wine, and enjoy cooking and baking. All I need is more time to prepare great meals. I have 3 grandchildren who enjoy a very limited range of foods along with 'grampy' (I think they are from the same mold), so my recipes are usually basic.

Anyway, I enjoy sharing easy recipes that are delicious and are also good for you. I'm trying to keep all of us eating heart healthy whenever possible.

It can be challenging, but I keep trying. This format is a great outlet and I'm happy to be able share and learn.

      Hello to All My Friends, Today, 9/16/12, has been 7 days since Blogger/Google has custom domain issues and my blog is showing 404 Errors - along with hundreds of other blogs. Google can not seem to fix the problem so I have temporarily imported my blog to a new name http://wineladycooksii.blogspot.com. Please do visit and continue to follow me. I'm hoping Blogger/Google will be fixing this error soon. In the meantime I'm working on setting up a new home to my custom domain as soon as it's available for transfer.
