Cooking Influences

Learned to cook as a child observing my mother but essentially self taught. I take my queues first from pictures in cookbooks and from what looks good in the grocery...then add in as much organic as I can.

I learn and take a LOT of information from blogs, recipe sites and forums. And I have never seen a recipe for grilling that I couldn't make my own while sharing the credit with the original author.

I often go on multi weekend challenges trying to cook something NEW for day after day without repeating a previous recipe or dinner, and including things I may have never eaten before in my life!.

      Thanks John. After days, I have found the tab for comments...it wasn't clear that was where my messages were too...so I found one 11 months old waiting for me. Unfortunately I've changed the way I blog and post and that isn't going to work well for CES unless I revert and frankly, this is a hobby so time and getting some of it back on the weekends was the purpose of the change. Got to look at the overall net gain for the extra work required I guess. Thanks again for responding.
