I am a self-taught home cook who cooks primarily for my husband and I. I love experimenting in the kitchen and making homemade, low calorie dinners and decadent high calorie desserts! What could be better?

Cooking Influences

My mom made dinner daily growing up but it wasn't her passion. I started off helping in the kitchen as a child, making the Rice-a-Roni and similar type dishes. I didn't start cooking until I got married and lived with my husband. I then discovered the world of food blogs and that was that- I was hooked! I have since taken cooking classes and begun to really expand my food knowledge.
