About me

I have been interested in cooking since I was a child watching Mom in the kitchen. I was not a picky eater, so therefore food was a good experience for me. I am in my 50's now (oh my!), so I have many years of meals behind me. I enjoy trying new foods and recipes, so there are plenty of cooking experiences ahead of me. I write a blog, and am involved with two other bloggers, in writting Family Recipes: Memories of Family, Food and Fun. I have a wonderful husband, two grown sons in their 20's and a 22 year old daughter. All three kids can cook. This year, our oldest son and DIL blessed us with a grandaughter. Life is good!

Cooking Influences

My Mother was a wonderful cook, and so was my mother-in-law and they really influenced my cooking. With a collection of cookbooks, TV cooking shows, and food blogs, there are so many new food ideas out there. I'm always looking for one more delicious meal!
