About me
I love experimenting with new recipes and flavor combinations. I am over 50 and now realize that I need to count calories, so I am now looking for tasty food that satisfies the taste buds but doesn't accumulate on the hips.
Cooking Influences
I was influenced by my grandmother. She cooked everything from scratch. I don't ever remember her using an actual recipe in a cookbook or in a magazine. My grandmother kept all her recipes in her head, but my mother wrote down as many as she could remember to pass on to us.
The other influencers have been the TV shows like Master Chef Australia and Great British Bakeoff.
