Cooking Influences

My biggest influences for cooking have been my family. My Mom, my Grandmother! Mediterranean Women think it's a rite of passage for the younger women in the home to be able to cook.
This is something that has changed drastically with the inception of the Working Mom. The younger generations have been left without that cultural influence in their everyday food.
I would love one day to be the influence that brings back the Dinner at home concept. The idea that "going out" for dinner is a special occasion, not a necessity. :)
