About me
I have had a long time interest and enjoyment in cooking beyond providing food for the family or friends. Since retirement, it is, "what will I do in the kitchen today?" There are so many recipes to try, tweek and to read.
Cooking Influences
My family of aunts were instrumental in getting me started in the kitchen. Indiana 4-H club brought out the competive side of cooking, winning blue, purple ribbons and taking the food to the Indiana State Fair for blue and purple ribbons. Meeting diverse people in college and my professional career broadened my interests and cooking experiences with a variety of foods and recipes. Italian cookbooks and food magazines have been provided the directions and challenge in the last 8 years.
