About me

I have lived all over the U.S. but always cooked my favorite Southern foods. It was difficult in Los Angeles, especially during the Watts riots. I had to go there to find some ingredients!
I have raised 4 childdren, all grown who love southern food, even tho one was born and raised in California.
My favorite cooking is vegetables fresh from the garden, and baking cakes from old fashioned reciepes of my mothers.
I like to try different things, but not outrageous stuff like tofu! ugh!!
I would like to try some other reciepes I have never heard of.
