About me

An actual grown up now - although I don't feel it. I have two wonderful sons, a precious DIL and a Grumpy hubby that I love with all my heart. I love to cook and bake and reminisce about my days with my family and share recipes and review of recipes I have made.

Cooking Influences

My Grandma - Mae Iris Whitton. I remember making cookies, pies, and cakes with her. I have memories of breafast at Nannys with her making me whatever I wanted and it was always looked forward to. In the last years together before her stroke, she would come to my house to help me decorate cookies. She absolutely loved to do so - and I'm pretty certain she would love my blog today. I wish she could see it.
