About me
I am a home taught cook that loves to make everything from scratch! As a trained chemist, I enjoy researching recipes and then adding my own tastes to things based on what I have on hand. My cooking tends to lean towards healthier but it is never lacking flavor. I am not afraid of butter and fat however I do subscribe to the everything in moderation principle. I try to use whole, locally grown food whenever possible and my favorite way to spend a weekend morning is searching out fresh ingredients at the farmer's market.
