    Many family members love this chili and I make it for them to take home. They are not fans of beans (kidney) but love the chili flavor, thickness and spiciness.

    Ingredients

    • one pound (16 ounces) Sirloin Ground Beef
    • one onion, diced
    • one bell pepper, diced finely
    • one Jalapeno Pepper, diced
    • 2-1/4 tablespoons chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon cayenne peppers flakes
    • 1 tablespoon cumin
    • one tablespoon garlic salt
    • one teaspoon black pepper
    • one roasted red pepper (from a jar) diced finely
    • 22 ounce plain tomato sauce
    • 1/4 cup beef broth or stock (low sodium)
    • garnish with shredded cheese, if desired

    Directions

    1. Saute onions, diced bell pepper, jalapeno pepper diced, and ground beef, remove any oils, transfer to a stock pot with a lid, add tomato sauce, and then add all other ingredients, cook on low heat one hour.
    2. Serve and enjoy!
