If you love a little sweetness with a little kick you will these grilled pork chops . The recipe is from Bobby Flay my absolute most favorite chef he has a wonderful way of mixing flavors that will always call you back for more. I did use my own bbq rub on these pork chops . You can find the recipe for the rub on my recipe pages. The rub is also great on grilled chicken and ribs. So make up a batch and keep it on hand for easy go to grilling .

    Ingredients

    • Horseradish Maple Glaze:
    • 1/2 C maple syrup (pure)
    • 1/8 C grated fresh horseradish ( I didn't have that so I used fresh ground horseradish in the jar)
    • 3/4 Tbl Dijon mustard
    • 3/4 Tbl ancho chili powder
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/4 C BBQ Rub
    • Olive oil
    • 4 Rib pork chops 6oz. each 1 " thick

    Directions

    1. Horseradish Glaze:
    2. Blend all ingredients in a bowl and whisk till well combined set aside.
    3. Preheat grill
    4. Brush both sides of chops with olive oil
    5. Sprinkle both sides of chops with the BBQ rub
    6. Grill for about 5 minutes per side
    7. Brush each chop with the maple horseradish glaze then turn over and continue to cook for about 3-4 minutes for medium doneness
    8. Brush again with the glaze and then place on a platter.

      Hi Bob,
I hope you like the recipe as much as my husband and I did . I have about 6 of Bobby Flays books and have not been disappointed in any one of them. Glad you like the BBQ rub as well my brothers ask for it as gifts as they love to grill so I always make them up a batch to keep them grilling .
      I appreciate your comments

        Hi Therese:
I am also fond of Bobby Flay's ability to mix flavors and come up with bold profiles. This sounds great and I will definitely try it. I have added it to my Try Soon folder. I recently bought his Mesa Grill cookbook and have been playing with several of the recipes. I have posted four to CES so far and will be adding more as I work my way through the book. Your BBQ rub is great as well and I will mix some up as I have all the ingredients on hand. Thanks for sharing.
        Best Regards,
        Bob
