Poached Egg on Bread
This is a very simple breakfast that I do for my kid, very fast yet very healthy. Ingredients
- 1 thick slice of your favorite bread
- 2 slices of bacon
- 2 thick slices of tomatoes
- 4 asparagus spears, ends removed (optional)
- Drizzle of olive oil
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- Butter (optional)
Directions
- Toast the bread with a little brush of butter while poaching the eggs.
- Place the toast it on the plate.
- Put the sliced tomatoes on the bread, then the bacon and asparagus. (optional)
- Top it with the poached egg.
- Drizzle with salt and pepper.
- Serve .
