Hot Date Ladhus
A natural sugars dessert, with fat and crunch! Eat in tiny quantities... Ingredients
- 3 Deglet or Medjool dates
- 3/4 tsp Ghee
- 1/4 tsp Coconut sugar
Directions
- Chop dates into .5cm slices.
- Warm a small skillet and Melt 1/2tsp ghee.
- 'Fry' the date slices until all pieces are softened (white pith will turn transparent).
- Remove from heat and allow to cool a few minutes.
- Sprinkle coconut sugar on a plate.
- Use remaining ghee to lubricate hands
- Take some dates about size of half-dollar into greased palms to roll and squeeze dates into a ladhu ball.
- Roll ladhus in date sugar and serve or store.
