Fresh Green Bean Soup
This was a recipe that my grandma brought over from Luxembourg when she was in her 20's It was called (bona sloop) Ingredients
- Fresh green beans (enough for 1/2 a dutch)
- salt
- potatoes (about 3 med. size)
- sour cream (8 oz)
- butter (1/2 stick) Make sure it's real butter
Directions
- Put green beans in a dutch oven
- Add water, (enough to cover beans)
- Add salt & bring to a boil
- When beans are done dice & add potatoes
- When potatoes are done stir in sour cream
- Just before serving melt butter & stir in soup
