Filipino Style Soft Cookies

- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 tablespoon water (or more) for binding
- 1/4 cup sugar for coating
Directions
- Beat egg & oil.
- Add vanilla & sugar.
- Slowly add flour, milk powder & baking powder.
- Add a little water to bind the dough.
- Mold into small balls.
- With oiled hands, flatten the dough with palms.
- Coat with sugar.
- Put in a greased tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
- STOVETOP BAKING: Flip cookies when bottom turns red.
